Proposal & a Pooch

27 Jun Proposal & a Pooch

On the hottest day this year, I went along to Paws Adventure Park to meet Steph, Nick and their spaniel named Loki. Yes he is named after the God of Mischief! You would be expecting a big green park area somewhere in Hinckley. However, having never been before I found myself driving up and down the country lane trying to find it. Sat nav in her usual helpful self kept telling me, ‘you have arrived.’ The only thing that could be seen was a private house which turned out to be a farm and where our meet up was meant to be! The owner loves dogs so much, he turned his acre garden into a little adventure park for them. The idea is that if you can’t let your dog off safely, this is a great place to do that. After going, my view is that it’s just a lovely place to go let your dog explore in. Anyone can pay (it’s about £7.50 an hour) to take their dogs to run free. You can also book out the space just for yourself if your dog doesn’t socialise too well.

Steph & Nick have booked their wedding photography with me for next year and decided to have their pre wedding photo shoot this year. They got engaged in February and Nick had sent Loki upstairs to find Steph. She hadn’t realised at first but then wondered what the jangling was around his collar and found the engagement ring. Nick then popped the question and Steph said yes!

We had wandered around the garden a little bit when the owner bought out a bottle of bubbly and 2 glasses so that Steph & Nick could toast their engagement. Really thoughtful of him. Think we got some great photos and looking forward to their wedding next year!
