A Woodland Wedding

17 Jun A Woodland Wedding

Amy & Kev tied the knot at the beautiful Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall on a beautiful sunny June day. I’d been to Hothorpe Hall before. I hadn’t realised at the time, however, the Woodlands was even there. When I visited for a pre wedding scope it had just been refurbished. Literally just finished. It looked beautiful. Although have to say it was literally pouring with rain, so walking down through the woodland wasn’t quite the experience everyone got on the day of the wedding.

Around the main venue there are lodges. This makes it perfect for a wedding, where guests can stay the night. The happy couple get to spend their first night as newly weds in the tree house. It sits just above the ceremony area.

The ceremony was beautiful. Guests enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the woodland before heading into the venue for an intimate wedding breakfast.

After the cutting of the cake, Petite Rouge played for the first dance and I left as everyone danced around the happy couple…
